A quick Q&A:

Q: The Title: "The title 'Worshipful Master' sounds incredibly grand—almost like a character from a history novel. What does the role actually involve on a practical level?"

A: Most of the activities are discussed through the WM. We act as a sounding board and help guide the lodge in a (hopefully) positive direction.

Q: The 3-Word Challenge: "If you had to sum up the atmosphere and vibe of an Arklow Lodge meeting in exactly three words, what would they be?"

A: Learning, growing, laughing.

Q: The Symbolism: "Freemasonry is famous for using stone-masons' tools as symbols for life lessons. If you had to pick one Masonic symbol that best captures the spirit of our lodge right now, which would it be?"

A: 24" gauge: it serves as a reminder to get the most out of each day.

Q: The Festive Board: "The 'Festive Board' (the social meal after a meeting) is a huge part of our tradition. What is your absolute favorite lodge meal, and who is the secret culinary mastermind in the kitchen?"

A: The festive board is about more than food; it is its own symbol: the importance of rest after the work is done, nourish the body with good food, and the mind with good company.

The Advice: "For a man in Co. Wicklow who is on the fence about reaching out or joining the lodge, what’s the simplest piece of advice you’d give him?"

A: It's an adventure that starts by saying, "Hello". Lives are changed, lifelong friendships form; all after a simple greeting.
